What We Offer

This page defines service deliverables referenced in proposals from Key Accounting LLC. Not every service below is included in every package — please refer to your proposal for specifics.

  • We handle the ongoing maintenance of your books by categorizing business transactions and reconciling accounts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and consistency. This service does not include invoicing customers or paying vendors.

  • Once bookkeeping is completed for the period, financial reports are uploaded to your client portal to provide visibility into your business’s financial performance. Reports may include a Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and other standard financial reports depending on the selected package.
    Video explanations of financial reports are included only with select service packages.

  • We track payments made to subcontractors and vendors that may require 1099 reporting. We assist with identifying contractors who require Form W-9s and monitor year-to-date totals throughout the year.
    Preparation and filing of 1099 forms are billed separately at the time of service.

  • If technical issues arise within QuickBooks Online that require support, we assist by working directly with Intuit Customer Service to troubleshoot system-related or backend issues associated with your file.

  • Communication and support are provided based on the service level selected in your agreement. Response times and availability vary by package.

    Standard Support
    Unlimited portal and email communication with responses within 72 business hours.

    Enhanced Support
    Unlimited portal and email communication with responses within 48 business hours, plus up to one 15-minute support call per month.

    Premium Support
    Unlimited portal and email communication with responses within 24 business hours, text communication with same-day reply, and up to two 15-minute support calls per month.

Advisory & Financial Insight Services

The services below are offered selectively and may not be included in all service packages. Availability is determined based on client needs and engagement scope.

  • Financial analysis and budgeting calls provide a high-level review of your financial data to identify trends, potential concerns, and opportunities for improvement. These calls focus on interpretation and discussion rather than day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
    Availability and frequency depend on the selected service package.

  • Cash flow analysis focuses on understanding how money moves in and out of your business over time. This service may include reviewing cash inflows and outflows, identifying timing gaps, and highlighting patterns that impact liquidity.

    Cash flow reports are designed to support decision-making and planning, not day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. Availability and frequency depend on the selected service package or agreement.

  • Budgeting and forecasting services involve building forward-looking financial plans based on historical data, expected revenue, and anticipated expenses. These services help establish financial targets and provide a framework for evaluating business performance over time.

    Budgets and forecasts are created collaboratively and are updated only as outlined in the service agreement.

Operational & Compliance Add-On Services

The services below are offered selectively and may not be included in all service packages. Availability is determined based on client needs and engagement scope.

  • Receipt management allows clients to upload receipts through the client portal or receipt capture software. We review and attach receipts to corresponding transactions in QuickBooks Online to support accurate records and documentation.
    Receipt management availability depends on the selected service package or add-on.

  • Payroll services involve processing employee payroll, calculating wages, withholdings, and employer taxes, and submitting payroll tax filings through an approved third-party payroll platform.

    When offered, payroll services are provided under a separate agreement or as a separately billed add-on. Payroll services do not include human resources management, benefits administration, or employment compliance advisory.

    Availability of payroll services and supported platforms are determined on a client-by-client basis.

    Clients may be required to transition to a supported payroll platform as a condition of payroll services.

  • Accounts Payable services include collecting and organizing vendor bills, entering bills into the accounting system, and scheduling payments through a third-party bill payment platform.

    When included, payments are processed according to a pre-defined schedule outlined in the service agreement. This service does not include negotiating with vendors or approving expenses beyond the agreed workflow.

    Availability of accounts payable services is determined on a client-by-client basis.

  • At this time, sales tax filing services are available only for clients operating in the state of Alabama. This service includes gathering data from payment processing systems, calculating sales tax liability, and filing Alabama sales tax returns by the required deadlines.
    Clients outside Alabama may be advised on software or workflows to support sales tax compliance but filings are not performed.
